Bonfire Parade Night

A bit out of season,I know......but amongst the 150 photos I had printed last week.....were a few OH took on his phone during our annual Bonfire Parade......it takes place every October in our town.....Bonfire societies from all over Sussex parade through the streets......dressed up and with lit torches.......culminating in an enormous bonfire on the beach.....and an amazing firework display which lasts for about half an hour.
It was Little A's first experience of the parade....and of fireworks......and she loved it all.....no fear at all.
And because DS had helped build the scaffolding around the bonfire....he got tickets into the fenced off area close to it ......so they all got a perfect view of everything.

Both of ours have always enjoyed fireworks ... the dog not so much!

Lovely vibrant page and it always surprises me that little ones love fireworks - you would think that all the flashes and bangs would scare them.

A bonfire on the beach now that would be something. The one we go to is in a muddy field! I love the idea of the parade first.
