A little bit of togetherness

Having 150 photos printed is good for the scrapping mojo....suddenly I have lots of pages I want to make.....whereas a week ago I had far less inspiration to scrap!!!
The photos included the last ones taken of my MIL.......I love these ones of her,DS and Little A [who in a few months will no longer be Little A, but will be Big Sister instead].....sadly she may have little recollection of her great-grandmother when she is older.....so I'm thankful we have quite a few photos of them together for her to look at.
The bucket of stacking beakers has been in Little A's toy basket at our house since she was veeeeeery little......and they are still the toy she gets out first....and plays with the most......even at Christmas!!
And thank you so much for all the 'make to sell' suggestions on my last post.....I think owls were a hands down winner......and I loved Julie's suggestion of felt owl key rings.....I'm thinking some knitting may be in order as well.

I loved the idea of owl keyrings. Can't wait to see what knitted creations you come up with too.

What a special layout. So lovely that she will have something like this to look back at.

You are so right - those photos will be precious to her: TTO has one photo of himself with his Grandpa who died when he was eight months old. It has pride of place in his bedroom.

Oh, and big sister? that's exciting!

Both of our kids were lucky enough to have a Great Grandmother - they too were young when she died, but a little older than Little A so I think they will remember her. We also have lots of photos of them with her and we bring them out and show them and talk about her a lot - it's good for all of us.

You did a beautiful layout filled with precious memories. Yes, get your knitting needles out and make some key fob owls.

A great layout Jackie & these will be treasured photos for the little one when she's all grown. I don't remember my material grandma, but I have photos of her at my 2nd birthday party (just a month before she passed away) and I grew up seeing that photo of me & her so I've always had that "memory".

150? Wow! And I thought my Project Life backlog was big! Nothing like a few photographs to trigger the memory (and the scrapping impulse) though.

You have a lovely layout there - so let's hope the mojo keeps on coming x
