Happy Mail

It has not been a good 2 weeks for us......there are so many sad things to do when someone dies......and tomorrow is my mother-in-law's funeral.
So I have been especially grateful to receive two pieces of happy mail over the last few days.
I won a prize on the Elle's Studio blog for a comment I wrote on one of their December posts!!! Last week it arrived.......a lovely little package of Christmas goodies......apart from the stamp which I'll start using.....these will all be squirreled away for my Christmas journal.....and now I know which colours I need to go for this year!!
And then I was lucky enough to win a giveaway on Deb's blog [thank you,Deb]......and last week this beautiful bracelet arrived from Christin.......which will match perfectly with some of my summer clothes.
Also thanks also to Alison and Stephanie for the lovely cards they sent me.
Blogging is definately good for the soul.

Hi Jacky ~ Oh, I know all too well about all the sad things to take care of when someone we love leaves. :( I'm so glad to know that you received a couple of things in the mail to lift your spirit.

I'm really happy to see your bracelet and I hope you will really love wearing it! :o)

Take care

Your prizes look lovely, and it sounds like they arrived at the right time. I bought that Christmas stamp set from Elle's, but haven't used it yet, I might bring it this weekend...

Happy mail is wonderful at any time but I can only imagine how much more special it's been to receive it just now. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow as you say your goodbyes to a lady who was obviously very special to you all. xx

I must have missed the post about the loss of your mother-in-law. I hope the funeral goes well, and am sorry for your loss. On a lighter note - what wonderful goodies!! I took part in a postcard swap and these have arrived this week. It is so good to receive mail through the post, especially when it is as good as yours x
