Journal Your Christmas 1

I didn't follow Shimelle's first prompt......my journal is a sort of combo of a JYC and a December Daily.....errr....except my first page is actually in November.....because I want to document all our christmas happenings......and the first one 'happened' last month.
The photos are rubbish......but it's the memory that counts......an annual gathering of a group of old friends......some we see regularly....some we only see a couple of times a year now......some can't make it some years.....so there's always a slightly different mix......there's always a lot of nostalgia.....good food.....a few drinks.....a lot of laughter......what better way to begin christmas,

What a fun way to start the holiday season! I still have to scrap our Thanksgiving photos which are definitely "rubbish" quality!

Its not the quality of the photos that counts its the memory they evoke. Lovely page to start your JYC this year.

I like that you are flexible enough to start journaling your Christmas in November. I decided that I'm just going to write about my Christmas in a notebook. Since it's just the two of us there is little photo opportunities but there's a lot of memories of Christmas past and future, and lots of talking. I'm going to do it my way and see how it turns out.

I'm a firm believer in capturing all of the holiday happenings---November or December! I love the greeting card/stamp embellishment. Just perfect with the rest of the page.

You did great working with less-than-perfect photos.

There are plenty of smiles in those photos and that's what counts for me! That and the love and care that have gone into preserving the memory

You've made a super job of it, and I especially like your little postcard cluster bottom left. Glad to meet another sould who is doing a combination of December Daily and Journal Your Christmas. :)

Karen and Sian have it spot on - quality doesn't matter - in years to come you will be glad you have the photos, rather than critiquing their quality.

I cannot think of a better way to start the season! I like that you included this in your album even if it's something that happened in November. I need to remember that too.
