Christmas recap

And so it comes........and goes.......and went a bit like this
a lot of lights.......a lot of presents.......a little bokeh [I think?]
2 little girls who got far too many presents......and actually prefered playing in the conservatory with the basket of old toys!!!!!!
a christmas dinner ostensibly cooked by DS......but the nearer it got to dinner time.......and the more beer he'd drunk.......the more everyone else did!! It was delicious, mind you.
a great-grandmother........who quietly enjoyed being surrounded by her family
and no.....it's not just an old blanket.....inside there is a little dog.....who obviously decided she'd had enough!!!!!
I'm not even sure how I managed to get this effect at the end of the day.......but it's a fitting finale.......do hope you all enjoyed your Christmas.

Great story (esp about Little A and the OLD toys, DS and the Christmas dinner and the strange case of the dog in the towel!!!) and pix - love that accidental effect too

Happy New Year to you, your family and your followers

That's definitely bokeh. I think my grandson liked the gift boxes as well as any presents he received. Love the photo of your grandmother.

It's lovely to have so many generations together - what Christmas should be like but sadly so often isn't now that families live far away. Love that your little ones liked to play with the old toys in the conservatory! It made me smile...
Lovely photos too :)

What a wonderful collection of REAL Christmas photo's!! Love them all....I'd love to know how you did achieve that final effect too!! I'm still mourning that another Christmas is over without one decent family group photo being taken!! Ah well...maybe next year...it's not that far away!!! Have a good one! {{Hugs}} :D
