The Wedding Dress

This is my post for Sian's Storytelling Sunday- read more stories here.
DD1 searched for weeks for a wedding dress.....she searched shops....second hand shops......charity shops......and finally found just what she was looking for on Ebay.
A wedding dress.....with underskirt.....veil.....and gloves......brand new with tags......all for just £25......a real bargain.
Doesn't she look lovely
So when is the wedding??

Well......not any time soon....unless you count going to a Halloween party on a boat on the River Thames as a zombie bride!!!
But she did apparently get 4 proposals of marriage!!!!
And had a lot of fun.

£25? Brilliant value for a wedding dress and not bad for a costume either

So glad you had the before and after photographs. They would make a great lay-out, I agree.
Your daughter made a fabulous zombie bride.

what an awesome party and how fun to be a Zombie bride, my daughter went retro this year and was the pink power ranger! LOL She loved Power Rangers coming up!

How clever is that?! I'm not surprised about the proposals - she makes a fabulous zombie bride lol Brilliant story for November Jacky and, as Irene syas, it's great to see the before and after pictures. Definitely well worthy of a layout!

Brilliant story and clever idea for a fancy dress. I hope whoever's dress it was doesn't see what she did to it lol.

I almost gasped when I saw the red being painted on that gown! But honestly, I think it suits her better that way! :)

Great set of photos, what a fab layout that will be! I wonder if it was hard to put the first daub of pain on? I did it to one of DH's work shirts yesterday for my son's costume and that was hard enough! Great layouts from Shimelle's class too!

Brilliant! She looks great. Hope you are going to scrap those photos!

Wow! I was totally unprepared for that outcome! Brilliant costume!

Just catching up with Sunday's stories ... and this is a good 'un! Love that she made her outfit special rather than spent that £25 on hiring one.
