Frosty Festivities Challenge 1- be inspired

Jennifer has set a few challenges during her weekend's fun Frosty Festivities blog event.......and as she's been posting inspiration every 2 hours throughout the weekend......there's a lot to be inspired by!!!!
She's been showing lots of christmas and winter related activities......which inspired me to scrap a photo from last christmas......the last get together of our Family Learning team before the closure of the organisation I worked for [a victim of funding cuts].
I definately wanted to document this in my [still to be completed] 2011 album.
I'm loving Jennifer's blog event....hope you are too.

Yes, it's important to document the bitter sweet occasions too. Love the layering you've done here :)

It is good to include that in your album and being together like that for one last time is remembered so well on your lovely layout.

The kraft cardstock looks great on this festive layout.

What a great job. I haven't had a chance to scrap this weekend, but I've certainly found the weekend inspiring.

Love the colours with the Kraft - and such a shame that an Excellence Cluster should be allowed to fold. Glad you were all able to mark it and celebrate its good work.

I've been following along as well, but didn't have a chance to work on anything other than Christmas cards. I love the red and kraft!

I love this - it's a moving page and a wonderful example of what scrapbooking can do: celebrate and record all at once

Great layout! I love the baubles and the mixed alphas, and the meal looks like it was a lot of fun, it's such a shame it was the end of an era. Thanks for joining in with the Frosty Festivities challenge! x
