Pretty poinsettia

We always have a poinsettia at christmas......it's one of the things........like the scent of cinnamon and oranges.........that just says 'christmas' to me........sometimes I even manage to keep it alive for a few months!!
So I really love Lord Tim's poinsettia die.......and once the flowers were die cut.......this card was really simple to put together.
Though because the paper is a slightly shiny gold.......I found it really difficult to photograph.
The flower was cut out in a variety of papers and I used distress ink on the book paper.....layered it all up onto gold paper with some twine......and added a brad before layering it onto distressed card.
A few challenges.....Christmas Stampin All Year and Sparkles want 'traditional'......Fussy and Fancy and One Stop Craft want 'anything'......and Totally Papercrafts want 'christmas'

Using text paper for some of the petals is a great idea. This card is very different from the ones you make using stamps and layers.

So pretty! I bet that gold paper is gorgeous in real life. It is such a pain to try to photograph metallics. Your flower is beautiful too, the text is a nice touch. Thanks for playing with CSAYL.
