Yet another photo.....

I don't often scrap a single photo on a page......not because I don't like the look of them......but because...........I just have sooooo many I want to scrap.....that I need a few on each page!!!
But occasionally one needs scrapping on its own.....just because it's large!
On a cruise the ship's photographers are always taking photos.....on our first cruise we only bought one.....I think they are over priced.....and I rarely like photos of myself enough to actually pay for one!!! But we did end up buying 3 of them on our second cruise.
This one was taken arriving at Corsica......I haven't added any journaling as the pages that accompany it will have journaling......though I might go back and just add a single line.
I used some very old K & Co 'Seaglass' papers that I still love.....funny how you just go off some papers......but others you never stop loving.......and talking of loving......I'm really loving this Tim Holtz alphabet die.....I've used it so much over the last few weeks.
I used the sketch over at Sarah's Cards August challenge......which is a great one for a single photo.....and it works for the summer theme at S.J.Crafts as well.

A lovely photo Jacky and those blue pieces of cardstock are exactly the right choice - the layout pops and will be a great addition to your album. If you have supporting pages with more text on them and this one sits within that context, there is no need for extra journaling, in my opinion!

Those colours are just perfect for such a happy photo - and there might be room for a sentence wrapped over a few lines on a little piece on card on that lovely grey background to the right of the photo?

It certainly is a lovely photo - well worth putting paper to paper for! Something I keep meaning to do more of is putting journaling under my photo and create a lift up photo with tape: ut I keep forgetting and glueing my photo down!

Sometimes that's all a page really needs is one photograph. Besides, it is a lovely photo.

This super pic needed centre stage so it's great that you scrapped it large - fab colours and layers too!

I really enjoy scrapping large photo and I would totally put yours by itself on a page as you did... and you totally made me jealous, I love Corsica and have not been since my teen years!

Lovely page Jacky :o) I started off a mainly a one photo scrapper, but quickly realised I'd never get them all done! Just catching up after my blogging break and I love the idea of an open air movie night. The yoghurt cake looks good too.

I'm with you Jacky. I generally use several pictures but will occasionally do a single photo layout for a large one.
And this is a great pix of you and your husband.

This looks good - I have two of these larger photos from our cruise that I'll be scrapping for our cruise album.
