It's rare indeed in the UK that you even CONTEMPLATE dipping more than your feet in the sea [unless you're under 10 or a masochist]
So after all that.....you might have concluded that it's been HOT here this week.......moaning about the weather is a national pastime.....so as the temperatures soared into the 30s on the South Coast......we moaned that it was too hot.....just as much as we were moaning it was too cold and wet 2 weeks ago.
But it's the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics today
so hey....it's raining....thank God for that.....everything must be alright in our world after all!!

I know! I complain about the cold in the winter and the heat in the summer. I much prefer spring and fall--unless it's raining and then I can complain about that. Looking forward to the Olympics opening ceremony tonight.

I'm afraid complaining about the weather is a pastime in many parts of the world. We've had two days of steady showers and are so grateful for the rain!

I would probably get an Olympic medal for complaining about the weather Jacky that's for sure!!!! Well I bet I will when I have to leave the sun and come to the UK next week! Its topping 45 degrees C at the moment here, which is too hot even for me! Sue x
