Street Party album [part 1]

I knew I'd take plenty of photos at our Jubilee Street Party......I knew I'd want to document them......I even knew which album I'd use.....
it had been sitting on the shelf getting dusty.......ever since I decided I didn't really like the 8 x 8 size.....but the colour was perfect......and the size is probably perfect for documenting this type of event.....I'm not quite sure what else is going to go on the front.....but all the inside pages are complete......which must be a record for me!!!!!
So here's the first few......

We all had a ticket.......we thought it would be a good memento for the children.
Some pretty amazing cakes were made.

 More to come later!!

Oh, wow! Can't you just imagine someone lifting it off the shelf 100 yrears from now and reliving the whole thing! I can picture an ancestor getting to show it off on Blue Peter, can' you?

You're so right---the 8X8 is just perfect for this project. Like Sian, I think this is one for the future generations!

What a great little album! You know I'm a fan of mini's - even though this one isn't "mini" but still smaller than the typical. I love it, Jacky!

Just popped here from the second post. Your album is brilliant, I love the page here with the cakes on, the cakes look fabulous and I like the tag you added! I have a lot of 8x8 albums sitting around half empty, I should really fill them up! x
