The Leaning Tower

We traveled to Pisa from the port of Livorno by bus [a terrifying experience at the hands of a driver who couldn't be bothered to sell tickets and drove at speed with one hand on the wheel while texting with the other].....and train [cheap and relatively safe!].
You can actually see the Leaning Tower long before you reach it......as you walk through crowded, but attractive streets of beautiful old buildings.......just follow the crowds.......no need for directions......a pretty amazing sight.
It's almost impossible to take photos without getting dozens of people in them.......but we did the usual 'holding up the tower' tourist bit.......and if you actually want to go inside the tower you apparently have to book months in advance.
I tried a bit more stamping on these pages.....you can just about see the texture stamping on the right hand side......and I definately need some more practise with alphabets!!

I love the stamped bunting on your LO Jacky :o) Thanks for your kind comment about the hearts on mine, they were supposed to look like bunting too.

Wow, your holding up the Tower photo worked a treat! I love the doilies on this to echo the decorations on the Tower. Very nice choice.

I love that color blue! I've never successfully managed the "holding up a sign" trick in photographs; yours worked great.

I love the bottom right pic in the first layout, such a different perspective from all the pics one normally sees of the Tower :)
