Pass the Book

I'm taking part in Melissa's 'Pass the Book'.......and was lucky enough to receive Ali Edwards 'Sharing Your Story' passed on from Deb.
The sub title is 'recording life's details with mini books'.........and the book is full of ideas for mini books.........made by a variety of scrapbookers........beautifully illustrated........in fact  the photos are the major part of the book....... I've loved looking through this book....and have jotted down loads of ideas for future use......and although I haven't made anything inspired by the book yet.......I know I will.......I'm already planning to make my next holiday scrapbook based on one of Ali's.......quite different from the way I normally do them.
I think this book will be inspiring for any scrapbooker.......so if you'd like it passed on to you for a turn......just leave me a comment......and you can take a look here for all the info on 'pass the book'.
And for those of you interested in a kitchen update.......today my kitchen looks like this
and this
no cooker......no sink......no washing machine......little sanity!!!!

Aww - I was getting so excited with the first photo and then I saw the second. But you'll get there and it will be worth it :0)

Oo-er missus! The first pic looks great and I'm sure the second one will be just as fab when completed but it IS hard living without white goods - even for a short time.

All the best

I actually looked for that book on Amazon but it's out of stock now. I'd love a chance to have a look at it.
Your kitchen is going to be lovely when it's finished, deep breaths!

Just keep looking at the side that is finished - won't be long until the other half is done too.
This looks like a great book, would love to be in with a chance to see it next!

Ah but you have a functional toaster oven! You can pretend you are back in the early days of just having moved away from home and all you can afford to eat is toasted cheese sandwiches! Hang in there...

Don't put me in the drawing - already own that book.

I've already had my turn with the book, but I had to comment on the first photo of the kitchen which is really looking lovely. The rest will come, and it will all be worth it.
