Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible

This week we are having a new kitchen fitted.......yaaaaaaaaaay.....I'll finally be able to get rid of a cooker I hate
and this wasted space that just becomes a dumping ground......and gain some proper storage
or it will be yaaaaaaaaaay when it's finished.......because at the moment it's a bit of a nightmare.
We have a small home.....so at the moment everything from the kitchen is in the conservatory.......and our dining room/study/craft room is full of boxes/worktops/cooker/fridge freezer totally blocking access to any craft supplies....in fact the only thing accessible is the computer......and that might not last for long once they start actually building the units!

But on the plus side......the weather forecast is good......so apart from work it may be a gardening week......there's plenty to do out there.....and with knitting in the evenings.....I may even get my 'monthly make' finished.

And I do have some more Graphic 45 cards I made last week to show.....so I'm hoping to not be totally absent this week.

Very best of luck with the new kitchen - it's a horrible upheaval while it's going on - but oh so worth it once everything is in and in use!

Good luck and hope you manage to get lots done! I don't envy you the kitchen adventures - I remember being without one for six months! Looking forward to the 'after' photos and your pleasure in having it all sorted. :)

I know all too well the feeling of disarray when it comes to a kitchen remodel. But I also know what a great feeling it is when it's done and put back together. Can't wait to see your finished kitchen, Jacky! :o)

It's going to be so good when it is all done, a week's worth of mess and chaos is a small price to pay! Hope all goes according to plan x

Its brilliant getting a new kitchen Jacky. Mine is just in from September and I am still enjoying the newness of it all. Well worth the hassle, can't wait to see it.

I left a comment yesterday but it looks like Blogger chewed it!

Cheri is spot on, it is a hard process and it is also worth it!

Ah, I remember this well. Ours took so much longer than anticipated, but like Cheri and Amy, it was worth every minute. Not a day goes by that I don't appreciate what a difference it has made! Hope it all goes smoothly.

Good luck with the kitchen make over- I hope it gets completed on time so you can get back to your craft supplies - and cooking of course!

How lovely to get a new kitchen! I remember at our old house, living in our lounge amid all the kitchen paraphernalia while our new kitchen was fitted. Amazing how you can feed a family of four with just a microwave, toaster & a kettle!!...we even washed the dishes in the bathroom!! Can't wait to see your 'after' pics...enjoy the adventure!! :)
