We've had a very mild winter.....we were still wearing lightweight jackets in November......it was bright and sunny at Christmas......now the garden thinks Spring has arrived......with bulbs shooting up.....and camellias in flower......but last night.....winter had the last laugh!!!!!

Isn't it pretty? And so nice for it to happen over a weekend when most people can enjoy it. I have my fingers crossed for a 'snow day' at work tomorrow!

Wow, you had LOADS more than we did here in the West Midlands, non left on the trees at all & the footpaths are all slushy

That's pretty much what it looks like here too.

wooo that's a lot of snow! It always looks so pretty doesn't it? Ok unless you have to go smoewhere. NO snow here on the South Coast, just rain:(

The spring bulbs don't know what to do and everything had been looking so pretty. Love your photographs but glad I am inside looking at them!

Gosh, those are definitely pictures which tell their own story! Wow! Very pretty. But I know I'm saying that from a safe, relatively warm distance. We don't even have a glimpse of snow here!

Thanks for telling the story of the snowy Storytelling Sunday. Nicely recorded Jacky

You poor things, nothing here and temps sitting at 5 degree so hopefully it will stay away:9 Love the photos.

Brrr, it makes me cold just looking at it! DH has just been jumping up and down with glee watching the snow at the premier football sat in his shorts with a cold beer. We certainly don't miss the winter weather at all! Could do with a bit more sun though.....

It is pretty and thankfully is fairly airy and light to shovel - as I had to clear the gate and pathway this morning before Meeting! Definitely a day to stay inside in the warm.

Gosh - that's snow and a half - we had about an inch and it's pretty well gone already!

The poor garden will go into shock, no doubt the animals as well ... especially if their coats have begun to shed!

Great use of photos to tell your story today! Your garden definitely got outfoxed.

I don't envy you! Our daffodils are starting to come up and it is waaaaaay too early (as in at least two months too early). If our temps drop, I'm afraid they'll be toast for this year.

Our daffodils are poking through as well, and when we walked through the park we noticed buds on the magnolia trees. I know there's snow coming; I hope the plants will survive! Beautiful photos!

Your garden looks so beautiful in the snow Jacky - I have a postage stamp size garden so I'm jealous! x

Oh! How beautiful. I wouldn't mind if winter had the last laugh here. It seems we are stuck with a summer scorcher!

I hope you're snuggled up in the warm
