A crafting afternoon

Yesterday my friend G came round for lunch and a crafting afternoon........snuggled in the warmth on a freezing cold day cutting and sticking........a perfect afternoon.......she was making an elaborate wedding card......and I decided to finish up the scraps of my blue digi kit......I made 2 more cards with it.....and it feels very satisfying to have used it all up.....and an outing for one of my cute little Tildas.
Lots of layering.....but in a free 'slap it all on' a la Shimelle style......a few gems and punched flowers to embellish.
A couple of challenges....Kaboodle Doodle want 'girly'.....Just Magnolia have 'anything goes'.

A cosy crafting afternoon sounds lovely, we wouldn't last too long as it is very humid and that is not good for paper crafting ... though, pixels don't seem to mind!

I spent the afternoon crafting with friends as well, and managed to finish two layouts. I definitely need to get busy on the card front as I have two birthdays coming up.

Wow! Love those swatches of paper. The way you've layered it makes it look like fabric. Smashing! Lx
