One day I'll be writing a diary......

thinks Little A.......or more likely "call this a book....where's the pictures?"
After playing with toys, watching some TV and eating lunch.......she picked up DD2's new diary.......and spent quite some time happily turning over the blank pages. We didn't think DD2 would be very impressed if we gave Little A some pencils to have a go herself!!
I thought the Graphic 45 papers were perfect for this page......though as usual with Graphic 45 I had a lot of trouble actually cutting into them!!!!! They always look to me as if they need framing.....not cutting!

I love the story these pictures tell. Great papers too. I've just bought a jelly roll to make a quilt and I thought I would document my progress. These papers would be perfect.

Jacky,
I think this is one of my favorite pages of yours ever! I love the alpha along the edge, as well as the dots (buttons?) and the journaling card. The flourish on the upper left provides perfect balance.
Also, great photographs and wonderful topic.
Everything a layout should be!!!

Your selfless sacrifice of such gorgeous papers is noted, Jacky! Great layout and little A's parents must be so thrilled that you are making such a fabulous record of her childhood

..and just look at that journaling card. It's perfect! I have just bought my nephew a picture book called "It's a Book" - very funny, it says things like "does it blog" "does it have Wifi" - highly recommended for a birthday present

A great layout - I love the concentration on Little A's face :) I quite understand what you mean about chopping into the papers - some are really difficult to cut up!

I wonder if written diaries will even be manufactured by the time she needs one? A great page Jacky, it shows that children do love the simple things to play with!

The Graphic 45 papers are just perfect for this! Like Rinda, I love all the ways you used the papers to embellish the page. And the colors--among my favorites. I don't think I've ever seen this line.
