Journal Your Christmas - the day after Christmas

Boxing Day was a bit different this year.....usually it's a day when we get together with other members of the family.....but for various reasons we didn't this year.
Boxing Day always used to be a day when the shops were closed......not any more......the sales started in our town centre......so while OH and myself sorted some of the debris left from Christmas Day.....the DDs headed off for a fortifying full English breakfast in Debenhams before hitting the sales.
We were due for lunch at G's at 1.00pm.......so rang them at 12.00 to see how they were getting on
"We'll be home soon" said DD1 "we can't carry anymore!!"
She wasn't joking.......they must have bought up half the town......or at least half of New Look and River Island.
The rest of the day was spent at our friend G's.......eating....drinking.......relaxing.......watching movies.

My Christmas Day 'page' was all photos and no journaling........and the opposite on Boxing Day......no photos at all.......it will probably be the only page with no photos.

Great idea for a page, sounds like great fun indeed! There's nothing like a bargain or 2, or 3, or 4...
Have a great weekend.

Love this page, really sums up boxing day to a T! You are very brave venturing out....I find all the crowds just too daunting!! (never mind the fact I'm usually broke after Xmas lol) xxx

Glad they found the bargains they were looking for. I love the occasional no-photo page, and this one works very well for Boxing Day.

It sounds like they hunted out a good bargain or four! I was trying to explain to my kids what it was like when the shops were closed on Boxing Day and New Years Day - they couldn't fathom it at all!

This is a perfect no picture page, seems the girls have totally embraced the new and the old Boxing Day traditions :)

Love the colors. And I agree that it's the perfect no picture page. On boxing day, we played lazer tag and then took the kids out to spend their gift cards.

I really like your boxing day page and, to be honest, didn't notice there weren't any photos to begin with. Sounds like your girls had a good mornings shopping too :) xx

Well your DD's have more stamina than me! I avoid the crush of sales at all costs! How great to get so many bargains though & I love your page, it doesn't 'miss' anything! Happy New Year Jacky :)

Great page Jacky. I struggle with shops pre-Christmas so the thought of going Boxing Day leaves me cold! Sounds like your girls has enjoyed themselves though.

I did some pages without pictures. It's easier to do in a dedicated album than my main 12x12 and I think it gives a nice balance
