Kraft cards.....using up the scraps.

Shimelle's encouraging us to use up our scraps of patterned paper.......so I'm doing just that.......making 2 cards with the bits left over from the 'use kraft plus one colour' prompt that I scrapped here.......slightly different to my usual cards.....but that's all good.......I just added ribbon to one......and ribbon and flowers to the other.
The colour is a lot more red than the photos suggest.
In another prompt Shimelle asked us to use our stamps........I use mine a great deal........but I rarely stamp a sentiment direct onto a card.........much too scared of ruining it.......but overcame the fear and stamped onto both of these.....and really like the effect.....need to be brave more often!!

When you get brave, beautiful things happen. Keep it up!

I love that top card! I've got a pile of card pieces from Shimelle's various prompts to put together. Maybe I'll do that today!

Well done on stamping direct onto the cards, my favourite is the first one.

Oh, I like it too! Both cards are lovely. I've been in the same camp as you, but recently stamped right on the patterned paper, and liked the effect a lot.

Oh these are gorgeous Jacky, I love the simplicity of just letting your DP's be star of the show (... and well done for stamping directly onto it, I'm always scared of developing a wobbly hand when I try it!)
