Pretty Paper Party 2- using patterned backgrounds

This prompt was a bit of a twitchy one for me......although I'm not a great user of 'white space'.....I do always start with a plain card stock background......so using a patterned background was a bit of a challenge......but Shimelle broke us in gently.......we only needed to use a lightly patterned paper.....and mine is very definately only lightly patterned.......at first glance you might think it's plain card.......I promise it isn't!!
I knew I wanted to scrap DD1's photo shoot photo.......and am pleased at how well it works with stripes.
The horizontally striped paper was one of those I've 'gone off' and nearly got rid of....so saved by the skin of its teeth here.....but works ok with the Graphic 45 stripes.....and some Bo Bunny stickers, I think.

I think it's a fabulous layout. I love the way you featured the photo and the different angles used. Great!

At first glance, I thought that striped paper WAS the background and thought it was a really bold move! Hard to tell the way the shadows fall.

These papers all work great together & that's definitely a photo worth highlighting alone on a layout.

Fun layout. I really like the calendar circle you used there. It is neat to find something that isn't the traditional box calendar.
