Anyone for a bath bun?

Shimelle's  Prompt 9 was to use kraft and one other colour on your project.......I've made another holiday album page.......but went for a change from green......and chose red as my additional colour.
When we were in Bath we visited the Sally Lunn tea rooms.......intending to have one of her famous buns........that is until we saw the price.......the tea rooms were crowded.......we decided it must be with the very rich......or foreign tourists.......most Brits certainly wouldn't pay those prices!!! We took the photo opportunity.......and then retired to a nearby tea room.......for a delicious bun and tea.......at less than half the price!!!!
Today......on the other hand......has been very expensive......a visit to the vet.......due to our oldest dog deciding to go to war with a badger......bad decision......resulting in badly clawed eye......but if you had heard the fight you might have expected a worse outcome......so I was pretty relieved when he survived in almost one piece.

I wouldn't know squat about the price of tea and buns... but I do hope your pooch heals quickly!

Poor pooch! I hope he heals quickly and next time bites the heck out of that badger. I have a tea room right around the corner from me and go often. I think her prices are fairly good. If I get a high tea, it includes as many pots of tea as I can drink, finger sandwiches, and lots of sweets for $20. If I just get a pot of tea and a sweet, it's much cheaper but I can't remember the price because I usually go for the high tea.

Oh my goodness, that sounds unpleasant :( and hope all will be well. I've always wanted a good Bath bun but reading your post makes me think I'll have to bake some instead! Love the colours you chosen for this ..

Ouch! No dog should ever tangle with a cross badger. Hope all is well now and the vet's bill wasn't too painful either!
I remember seeing the Sally Lunn's shop when we went to Bath last year and agree, it's much cheaper to have a bun elsewhere and I'm sure they are just as delicious!

Yikes! A badger? How scary. Our animals here risk being attacked by coyotes, but only in the outter lying areas of the city. I hope he's ok!

Love your layout today, Jacky!

I love the journaling along the right edge. Still need to do the kraft challenge.
The worst thing my dogs have ever tangled with has been a skunk! Smelly, but otherwise harmless.

I love the look of red with kraft! Maybe I need to try that out next... Great layout - I love the journaling around the edges and the angled photos.
Hope your doggie recovers quickly!

Badgers are scary! The first time I saw one I couldn't believe how big they are. I hope your dog is recovering well.

More fab holiday pics on this one - they suit the red perfectly

Hope that your dog gets better soon. Wish I had known you were in Bath I could have come and said " Hello". Yes, Sally Lunns is very expensive and the Sally Lunn buns are enormous and over rated, so you didn't miss much! I only tried one a few months back because my hubby's boss bought some. Very sad, especially as Bath is my home town! Love the colours in this layout Jacky. xx
