Scavenger Hunt self portrait!!!!

I don't like being photographed.......I tend to avoid it......I rarely like photos of me......but since my mum passed away I realise how pleased I am that she had loads of photos taken of her.......so I do try and have the occasional photo taken......for posterity!!!!!
And Rinda's scavenger hunt insists on one......so it's not exactly a self portrait......but was taken with OH on holiday this year......and surprisingly........I quite like it.......I may even scrap page it.
And have managed to take a few more photos for the scavenger hunt.......though I'm doubtful of finding them all!!
Some lovely rooster tins in a shop that was full of gorgeous items [21].
A good natured protest by UNISON in the town centre on Saturday about the government's  pension proposals [4].
And a wooden bridge in the park [10].

Well I don't see why, you have one of the most beautiful smiles I've ever seen. This is a perfectly snuggly pic of you and OH! LOve it.

Totally love those rooster tins too!

I think you photograph beautifully. It's just a matter of getting yourself in the right position -- you know, like the movie stars seem to know exactly how to pose to get a good photo. I think your husband naturally knows how to do this!

Jacky,
I LOVE that picture of you. I think it really captures you and the way you look right now . . . it's quite pretty and natural at the same time.

That is a really lovely, natural photo of you Jackie - it really does need to be the subject of a layout some time! Well done on the scavenger hunt photos, I especially love the rooster tins.

Lovely shot of you both together Jacky, you've gotta scrap this. I think photos are so important for that very reason, which is why I always have to self portrait as hubby rarely picks up the camera! I love the shaddow on the bridge photo, looks really cool.
Have a great week.

Jacky, I LOVE this photo, it's precious! I don't have many of the scavenger hunt photos but it has been fun when I spotted something out of the blue and yelled "wait. I need a pic" I didn't realize how I'd get a protest pic until looking at yours it came to me :)

I found a box of photos of my mum tucked away recently, and although I know it's still early days for me, those photos bring tears to my eyes, but I'm loving that I have them. And this gorgeous photo of you is I know cherished - more photos of you, I say :)
