Pass the Book - The Cardmakers Sketchbook

I received this book as part of Sian's wonderful 'Pass the Book' scheme....full details here.
As a cardmaker who loves sketches......I was delighted to receive 'Cardmaker's Sketchbook' [and I hope I've actually manged to link the picture to Amazon]!!!!
The book is full of sketches.......and each sketch has a variety of cards made from it......in fact it was looking at all the cards that I enjoyed most about the book.
There's about 45 different sketches in the book.......most of them fairly simple ones......which makes this book suitable for a beginner as well as the more experienced cardmaker.......so if you've never made a card......here's your chance to have a go.
Those of you who frequent my blog.......know what a problem I have with 'clean and simple'......and I really do try........but much as I admire other people's cards made in this style......I can never resist adding more layers or embellishments!!!!
So this one......based on a sketch in the book......is about as simple as I get!!!!
If you'd like to receive this book....please leave a comment on this post by Friday 30th September......and then courtesy of random organiser........it will be winging its way to a new 'borrower'.

What a lovely card, now I must say I like all the layers on a card. Please don't put me I the draw, I just wanted to say how much I like the card

I'm interested! Please include me in the draw. And I'm chuckling that your idea of "simple" is my idea of lots of work!

I have several sketch books, so don't add me, but like Sandra, I wanted to say how much I like the card.

The book sounds really interesting, and I love how you've taken the sketch as a starting point but applied your own style to it :)

Your 'simple' comment made me laugh - at the crop I run one participant has a similar problem. She once announced she'd done a simple LO like me... I wandered over to look and laughed, "Sewing, stamping, embossing - dry & heat, die cutting, three types of fibre/ribbon and pop dots. Yep, simple!" ;)

I like sketches and keep them filed in my Evernote notebooks. Marvelous invention.
