Little A's birthday......scrapped

In the paper sense, of course!! I used some pretty old squares of decorative papers and loved the way I could cut into the flower to make it overlap the bottom right hand photo.
The balloons were die cut........and just seemed perfect for the journaling on a little one's birthday.
And if you look at the bottom 2 photos.......you'll see her favourite thing.......the big pink bag that the presents came in, of course!!! She spent most of the time putting toys in and out of it....and even trying to get into it herself......a good lesson for that day......don't spend money on expensive toys for little people........boxes and bags will always be more fun for them!

Hey Jacky...
This is a lovely page...I love the frame in the centre. It really 'frames' her face..job done I suppose!

This is super cute, I love what you did with the balloons!
That's strange if you haven't recieved your Mollie Makes yet. It's the 5th issue I just recieved, with the crochet veg on the front. I know a friend in the UK got theirs ages ago. Maybe it's worth checking into!

She is adorable jacky and your layout is so perfect. The wrapping was always the most exciting part over here too at that age lol.

Such a sweet page - and I love that frame right in the middle, especially. I remember how mine loved the wrappings and boxes too!

Yes, our two are easily pleased and like boxes to play with, even at 5 and 8 ... but, you have to add a ball of string and a roll of sticky tape to make it 'just right'!

This is a great page Jacky and I also love the idea of the balloons for the journalling - perfect for a 1 year old! I have to admit, the bag being the hit doesn't surprise me lol! Another couple of months and I'll have to make a similar page :) xx

Hi Jacky! Gosh, I popped over here to do a little catching up and just can't believe that your sweet little grand-daughter is already a year old! She is such a little doll, and it's so typical that she loves the bag. LOL! Great layout! I've missed visiting over here.
