I'm much happier with this canvas than the last one....which I may return to.......thanks for all your helpful suggestions.

Creative Colour Workshop- day 3
Day 3 of Christy's workshop had us looking at shops.....the colours and patterns in bags,scarves etc.....I didn't really go with the bright colours and patterns she was looking at.....but took the idea of using stripes as a background.
An assortment of green papers were used for the background.......lightly painted and sprayed....some stamped texture......some rub-ons.
The butterflies were stamped on the canvas......and then stamped on card.......cut out and added on top
The bird and cage were die cut......and the cage gold embossed.....and some gold paint added to the canvas.

Yes, this is great Jacky, I think because you are a natural embellisher, the placing of elements comes easy to you and you really have done a great job with all of the parts to the canvas. I also really like your colour palettte.
I've really enjoyed looking at this, the colours, the texture, the background ... Just all of it. You certainly have the creative flair for this
