A visit to Cosmo......our 'eat as much as you like' Chinese buffet.....is apparently H's favourite restaurant in the world.....far better than any Chinese buffets in London.......where she manages to eat more than any of the adults.
A trawl round all our charity shops to see what treasures can be unearthed......and on this visit that included a 1940's box camera and case in perfect condition.......plus an assortment of videos and books.
Visits to the beach [plural].........London may have many attractions........but beaches are not among them.
Time to sit and contemplate the sea......watch the seagulls......and wonder where the boats in the English Channel are going to.
A wander through the Old Town.......with all its interesting little shops.......and breaks for coffee and milkshakes at outdoor cafes in the sun.
All finished off with a pot of fresh prawns........another of H's 'must haves'. All in all......a lovely week......shame it vanished so fast!!!

What a lovely week.
Looks like you've enjoyed a great week, thanks for sharing your piccies - soon to be making an appearance as a scrap layout?
Happy Friday
Kathyk
we have a cosmo too that the grandchildren really love!
It looks like it flew past!
Last week TSO lent me a Michelle Magorian novel about boys just after the war. They get into taking photos and making films for a school project - I bet they would have been using a camera just like the one you bought!
I'm the same can't believe it's Friday - enjoy the weekend x
Glad you (and your niece) had a lovely time!
Alison xx
Sounds like you all had a lovely time, loved the photos Jacky.
What an idyllic week you had and the photos are lovely.
It may have vanished in a flash, but what a good way to have spent your time!
What a lovely week Jacky - sounds like lots of fun and yumminess. Glad it was so lovely. Hugs Cherry XXx
Lovely photos, and glad you had such a great time - that beach is gorgeous ...
looks like a great week! We had a fab chinese buffet which closed allegedly for using dog/horse/something other than the advertised meat lol still tasted great if the rumours are true!
Sounds like a wonderful time - and good weather too.
Sounds the week was passed well. So nice that your niece has certain things she always looks forward to when visiting.
Hi friend!
My week also mysteriously vanished - a victim of too much work-work. It's fun to finally get back to my blog and to see what everyone else has been up to. Have a great weekend.
