One Little Word Art Journal update

I'm joining in with Rinda's 'One Little Word' monthly art journal......so time for an update......my word this year is 'develop'.......and I'm happy with lots of the 'developing' I'm doing this year.......but the art journal is focused on 'developing' a healthier lifestyle.......and I have to admit I'm not doing so well here.....however, April is a big month for gardening.....so hopefully that will be good exercise....as well as planting for healthy eating.
So I've gone with the garden as my theme.....and keep my fingers crossed it works!!
The chipboard has been painted and 'blobbed' with acrylic paint........a little paper doll doing a bit of gardening added.........and some punched flowers and leaves.
I'm hoping the bit of journaling works out to be true  'gardening is good for the soul.....and the waistline!'

You definitely have been doing lots of creative developing right here on your blog and we are all fortunate enough to see it happen.

Well if the gardening doesn't work, all the painting should! I find when I am immersed in that type of creative work, I forget to eat!

Love this! So happy you're playing along and keeping up on the art journal. The healthy eating/healthy living is a life long journey, so on't be too hard on yourself.
Hugs,
Rinda

The physiotherapists that I work with firmly believe gardening is a great form of exercise, so I think you are on the right track:) , too bad I'm not much of a gardener! BTW I love this piece of art! I see some She Art techniques here!
