The Make Overs continue

'Making over' DD's Ikea unit may have been a mistake.......she now keeps appearing with more items that need 'altering'. Changing from a lilac to mocha/brown room causes a few colour co-ordination issues......and DD is very into colour co-ordination......as a small child.....even her socks had to match!!!!
So the next item to appear was a lilac 'elegant lady thingamabobby' for hanging jewelry on......and again she wanted 'spots'.
Think this fits the bill.......it's purely a paint job.......and quite a few coats of the stuff.....though it's a little difficult to see with all the jewelry back on it.......and I forgot to take a 'before' picture.
I am slightly concerned about Sally's comment on the Ikea box make over post..........'she's never gonna want to leave now'..........I fear she may be right........I think I should stop cooking, cleaning and 'altering' for her.........watch out for the next instalment!!!!!!

Oops - may have shot yourself in the foot there then! Still, lovely elegant lady to hang chains from.

Delicate and elegant - she couldn't have got anything better. :) Is she interested in learning something of your superb skills so she can do some for herself yet?

Hahaha. Well, Jacky, I can speak from experience. No matter what you do for her she'll still eventually reach the point where she thinks she can do better on her own. ;o)

Isn't it amazing what a little coat of paint will do to change something up? It's fun to see the things you are altering!
