Creating for Christmas

During the really cold weather we've been having........I've been watching more TV.......because the TV is in the lounge.......where the log fire is.......but I can't just 'sit' and watch.......so having seen some lovely heart decorations on Caryn's blog.......thought I'd make my own.

They're made with felt......I've made 2 sizes....the small ones with central hearts for on the tree......and some larger ones with snowflakes for on door handles and other [yet to be decided] places. They are perfect for stitching sitting in front of the TV.......so simple.
The felt snowflakes were die cut with a Cuttlebug snowflake die on a  Sizzix Big Shot.
Do you think the bigger hearts would make nice little gift bags as well.......I might try doing some of them.....leaving the top open.
I'll probably do page 3 of  'Journal Your Christmas' about making them.......

Just sooooo pretty! Genius! Who'd have guessed you can use a Cuttlebug to cut felt ...

Really lovely Jacky - I know that feeling of not wanting to sit in front of the tv without something in your hands! These look like the perfect little project.

I love these, Jacky, and have been thinking about doing some projects with felt after making a little pouch for Sarah's gift. I need to get caught up with the Christmas Journal first, though.

I love these hearts. I made some for our tree a number of years ago and keep meaning to make some more but haven't got round to it. Let us know how the gift bags work out! xx
