Little A came to dinner.

On Sunday we had a family roast dinner......all the kids, MIL and, of course, little A.......who decided, as babies do, that she wanted feeding at the same time as us.....so poor S had to have her dinner put on hold.
And DS was constantly talking to little A in that voice adults use with babies.......the 'voice' that a few months ago he would have sworn he'd never use......and telling us all how she won't be having sweets.....and will be weaned onto vegetables to avoid a sweet tooth......if I tell you that in our family he's known as 'the junk food king'.....you'll understand why it raised more than a smile!!!!
And suddenly he doesn't mind the camera pointed at him......so long as he's holding little A.
The photos aren't great......but it's the memories that matter.....right??
A pretty 'clean',simple page for me.....the sketch is from Pencillines who are holding their 4th birthday celebrations........but thought I'd try out the bunting that I've seen on so many layouts recently......and do like it....will have to try Sian's knitted bunting next!!

Isn't it amazing how babies get their timing just right so that you never quite get to have your dinner in peace or at leisure? I'm sure we all mastered the knack of eating our dinner in record speeds when the kids were young!

The bunting and everything on your layout looks fabulous. It's amazing what new parents say they will and won't do, until there in the deep of it Lol! It looks like it was a fab sinday dinner.
Happy crafting

Memories are made & kept safe by LOs like this - document as much as you can. Little A will grow & change before your eyes and you'll be glad you recorded it all - interrupted dinners too!
