Hellooooooooo

We're back from an amazing 'European Odyssey'.......I'm hoping to catch up on a few blogs today......in between a houseful of washing [the real downside of holidays].......not to mention trying to 'rescue' my pots of plants and veg........DD1 insists she's been watering them.....but the full water butts and bone dry earth tell a different story!!
Our trip began at some ungodly hour at Gatwick Airport and deposited us at our 'floating' hotel in Palma,Mallorca.

Here's a few 'sneaky peek' photos of some of the places our travels took us.....your quiz for today is to try and recognize where they are!!!??

The Trevi Fountain
The Colosseum
A Gaudi masterpiece still in the making 130 years on
The Leaning Tower
Possibly the richest square mile on the planet........no coaches allowed......they might upset the sensibilities of all the Ferrari,Rolls Royce and Porsche owners!!
The birthplace of an infamous general.
I also need to catch up on all the prompts from Shimelle's 'LYPLYP' class........but I've certainly got a ton of photos now!!!!!
Catch you all soon.

Yay, welcome home!

We did an Ocean Village cruise a couple of years ago, it was FAB! :-) I'm gutted that they're disappearing, we'd hoped to do an eastern Med route with them within the next couple of years. YOu had better weather for Barcelona than we did, my photos from there have cloudy skies - beautiful sunshine everywhere else, though, and Rome was HOT! Can't wait to hear (and see!) more about your trip :-)

Your photos look amazing. Postcard just arrived from Rome today! It's 25 years since i've been to Barcelona and the Sagrada Familia (spelling?) doesn't look any different, still unfinished!
