A bit Posed

On a cruise....the official photographers are everywhere.....snapping away......hoping to sell plenty....at £5.95.......not too bad a price......but most of them were awful......actually I think most photos of me are awful......and wouldn't buy them at any price!!!!
But 2 or 3 weren't too bad......and this one.....taken in the restaurant the day before the cruise ended......I actually really like!
A complete fluke that we were all colour co-ordinated.....even more surprising that all 4 of us are looking ok.....how often does that happen?
A simple page......simple didn't equate to quick.......why do I decide to spend 2 hours making chipboard flowers???
Started for Shimelle's 'scrapping with quadrants' challenge......wonder why it wasn't finished in time????
The stamped Paperartsy quote says 'in the cookies of life, friends are the chocolate chips'......I love that.

You're not wrong its a fun sentiment and very apt given your photo was taken in the restaurant - a lovely layout Jacky

I love that quote Jacky :-) The photo is really nice, I think you all should be pleased with how it turned out ... had to giggle about you saying that simple doesn't mean quick - tell me about it!

What a nice family portrait. This is something you can look back on and remember all the fun you had on the cruise.

I love the cookie quote too, Jacky. :o)

And the picture of you guys is great. I love those kind of shots where everyone looks genuinely happy and even though it's "posed" it's such a great shot of all of you. Not to mention a fabulous layout!

Deb's is so right - it's the best kind of photo when everyone is looking relaxed and happy (sign of a good holiday too!)

It's a lovely photo, and a lovely layout! I remember those photographers - they took some really gorgeous pics of The Children, we still have those framed on our wall now :-)

You really made me laugh with your question to yourself about making the chipboard letters, when everything else had come together so fast - gosh, I know that feeling! But it was worth it for this lovely celebratory page - you are all looking great!

That's a lovely LO & I never understand the obsession some seem to have with speed! Surely the end reult is what counts & this was well worth it!!! From one choc chip to another!!! :)

Oh that layout is great. Have you ever noticed how we remember near the end of the trip to make sure we have a group shot of everyone? At least that's the way it seems to work with us.

Great photo Jacky, it is rare to have everyone facing forward and smiling so these photos become your favourites. I like the layout too, it works so well.

Both the photo and the scrapbook page are great! We've scheduled our first cruise for next summer; I didn't know about lurking photographers! I happen to feel the same way about them you do.
