Together

Another Egyptian page....based on Camp Scrap's Week 2 recipe.....not sure about this one......May's example was deep colours and worked well.....I don't think this all 'gels' together so well.
I do like the title......using up lots of chipboard alphabet oddments.......and the words at the bottom are from an old magnetic fridge set that the kids used when younger!

I am enjoying working with a colour that I never usually use.......orange......it just seems perfect for the heat of this holiday.
And speaking of heat....after my post yesterday......what did it do......yep.......poured with rain all night......and much cooler today.......at least my garden looks a lot happier.

The title is great. I never think to do this with all my random left over letters.

I like the way your colors are working together. I don't use much orange either but when I do it still always amazing me at how awesome it goes with everything else. Love these pics as well!

Looks great and is that a free craft stamper stamp I spy too?

Ah, orange, my favorite color to scrap in! I am an earth tone person so I use orange to give my layouts a snap. I think it's great you were able to use all that chipboard on your layout. I have bits and pieces laying about that I should use up, and I think I will in my next mini-album.

The orange is great for these layouts and it's surprising how many other colours compliment or contrast with it. Lovely page!

I agree with what everyone else said and I think it has some nice cohesiveness with your other Egypt layouts.

I'm another fan of the orange and blue. And using the little magnetic words was genius!

This looks great to me, Jacky :-) I love the title especially!

We have those magnetic words - still on the fridge at the moment, but I've had my scrapping eye on them for a while.... ;-)

Your 'Egypt' album must be looking pretty impressive by now!!

Thanks for the tip about the fridge magnets...we still have both key stage 1 & 2 sets...not used anymore, so perfect for journalling!! Why did I not think of that?!!!:)
