A morning at the Beach

Back to scrapping today......Camp Scrap's double page Friday sketch .....and a random winner will get some Lord Tim goodies.....so can't resist that chance.
And the photos couldn't be more 'now'.......pictures from Sunday morning on the beach......the extra dog belongs to SIL.
Kept the pages very simple [for me].......almost no embellishing.......and some more chipboard letters used......might actually run out of them at this rate!!
And back at LYPLYP.......Shimelle had asked us to add text to a photo......managed to add a [slightly iffy looking] word to my clematis photo.....first time I've tried this......BUT.....it shows on the photo on my computer.......but not on here when I try to upload it.......anyone have any idea what that's all about??????

Good luck from me too :-) Great layouts!

The text thing. You're using Picasa, right? I just had a look and had the same thing happen: I can see the text fine when viewing the pic in Picasa, then when I upload it to my blog there's no text. Then I tried saving a copy of the file in Picasa (via Save As... on the File menu) and when I uploaded the copy the text was there fine. Seems a bit of a faff though?

I love this double LO...great photo's & those puzzle pieces are perfect!

How I get round the Picassa thing is, after adding the text, save it as a seperate image to the original & then export it too my pictures file on my PC...it should then upload onto your blog or into the forum OK. Just highlight the photo in the Picassa album, click on export & follow the directions in the new window...good luck!

Loved these pix when you posted them and now even more in the layout. Love the puzzle pieces!
Rinda
(who still thinks you should have used the mad dogs and Englishmen tag line . . . LOL!)

Now that's interesting about Picasa, I didn't realise that could happen.

I'm laughing at Rinda's comment! Mad dogs? maybe, but where is the sun!

A very calm and quiet layout for you! I like it and the fact that you also used negatives and positives. Very good layout!
