Compendium of Curiosities Challenge 3

It's Challenge 3 over at Studio L3.......and I can join in again this week......definately have alcohol inks, even if only a few.
This week it's the alcohol ink monoprint technique on page 51......[ shhhh- not allowed to tell you more than that- go buy the brilliant book]........Linda suggested glossy photo paper isn't a good base......but it's the only glossy I have.......so gave it a go......and she's right....not quite the effect Lord Tim had in mind......but I actually quite like it.
I used part of the result for a backing layer stamped with a Paperartsy flourish.....stamped the Crafty Individuals girls onto a small piece.....and layered it all up with black card.....finished off with some Floradoodles flowers.
Some other challenges......Anything Goes want 'vintage' and I do think this has a bit of a vintage feel to it......Crafty Cardmakers want 'inky fingers' you can imagine that's pretty apt!.....Creative Crafts want 'stamp it up' and Creative Corner want 'blues and greens'

Jacky, this is spectacular! You made that photo paper look amazing, and that takes some real skill and a careful touch. And let's talk about those stamps: LOVE THEM! I've never seen these before, and now I must have them.

You're teaching me all kind of things this week! Thank you!

I'm glad you joined in, and I hope you're back for more Compendium fun next week!
