But this lovely LOTV stamp......and PM Hampstead papers........ inspired me to make one today.......so now at least I have one ready for the next male birthday!!!
I used LOTV blog's sketch.......image coloured with Copics.........DCWV card.......and Hampstead papers.
One Stop Craft also want male cards this week.
OH returned to work last week after 3 months at home.....many thanks to all who sent best wishes for his recovery.......it seems strange with him not here........as he is away Monday to Friday.......but not a great start for him........returning via Calais yesterday.....French customs found 3 illegal immigrants hiding in his truck......one in a space that OH would have sworn was not big enough for a human being to get into.........luckily they were found the French side.....as UK customs fine you £2000 if they find anyone!!!!! And now he is on a training course all day today!! So not much of a break for him this weekend.

Hi Jacki, I also tend to find male card difficult, but I managed to do some this week and yours is so adorable, love the LOTV stamp :) Must have been very frightening for your OH to find the immigrants.. we have so many of them now here in Malta.. luckily they seemed to stop coming after some deal was made with the Libyan Gov I think!!
Blimey that must have been a bit of a shock for your OH..not nice!
I also have probs with make cards, I need to make a Father's Day card so ought to be getting cracking really. Oh and I've signed up for Camp Scrap - so see you there xx

This is another lovely man-card Jackie. I like the way you've coloured the image in different shades of one colour. Very effective....not to mention "manly"

I always love the way you layer things up on your cards visually very striking. Your poor hubby! I guess some people are so desperate they will try anything!
What a cute card this is!
Gosh, that must have been pretty scary for him. We've been watching Border Patrol, so can just picture the scene. But I'm glad to hear he is fit to go back to work :)
I'm rubbish at male or female cards..that's why I ended up in Paperchase this morning lol. Yours are so professional looking.
OMG, I bet he got a right shock! Your card is fantastic, hope this inspires you to do more Jacky.
Happy crafting

That's a lovely card.
I know what you mean about inspiration for male cards. I've just bought some of the Graphic 45 A Proper Gentleman paper in the hopes of finding inspiration next time I need to.
You've done a great job with this card so no more getting shop bought ones!!. Flip lucky all right that would have been some fine.

I love the sketch you used for this. It's amazing to hear about how border crossing stories are occurring all over the world.

A lovely card, I find male cards difficult too.
A beautiful guy card and a splendid image from LOTV - great colouring from you. Your poor OH, what a way to "ease" back in to work - hope it doesn't happen again to him.
