Tim Holtz Goodies...and March calendar page.

I'm very impressed with QVC service.....ordered from them Tuesday.....arrived Thursday....but first had time to play yesterday.
I got the special Tim kit.....and am delighted.......his new book.......and a selection of goodies.
The book is brilliant.......not only full of photos of gorgeous Tim projects.......but step-by-step instructions on how to use all the Ranger products. The main reason I only own distress inks is that I didn't really know how to use all the other stuff.......and now I will!!!
So if like me you love his art....but don't really know where to start....this book is for you......in the UK you can get it from Craft Emporium.
So...in honour of my Tim goodies....have used lots of Ranger stuff on my calendar page this month.
March is 'birthday' month in our family.....why they can't be spread throughout the year I don't know....so I've gone with that theme.
Tilda has been coloured with distress inks.....my first time doing this....think I need some practise.......Happy Birthday stamped with distress ink and all the papers have been edged with it. Doesn't really show in photo, but lots of distress stickles used, sepia dimensional medium on centre of the Prima flowers, and glossy accents on her belt and the present......all the papers are K & Co.
Think it all has a slightly vintage feel to it.
Going to enter it for a few challenges......Simon Says wants 'vintage with flowers'.......A Spoon full of Sugar want 'distress inks'.......Quirky Crafts want 'cute'........Just Magnolia wants 'birthday'.........Pollycraft want 'distressing'....Cupcake Craft want 'circles'

What do you normally colour in your Tilda stamps with? I used acrylic paint for mine with a bit of watered down distress ink for the hair but I'm not sure it was the best idea!
Love the March page, I'm a March birthday too so I totally agree with the theme!

Good luck with the challenges - you've done a great job here! Think I NEED that Tim book.. I've accumulated numerous distress inks, alcohol inks and various accessories.. but I'm scared of them!
