Focus on scrapping your patterned paper

Shimelle's second 'Something from [almost] Nothing' class prompt........was to start using up our old patterned papers.......and paper scraps........and I've plenty of both of those I have to admit!!
I loved the pages she showed using circles.......and out came my circle punches.
The birthday backing paper was part of a sheet I've had for ages..........but the circles have all been punched from scraps.......and used some more metal up with the addition of brads.
I really want to get some of my old photos scrapped.......and this class is already helping me do that.....as well as using up my older stash.

Great job Jacky. Those pictures are precious - love how you placed the msaller square one on top and next to the journaling!
Plus, I love the balance give by the gathering of the circles in the lower right corner.
Happy Mothering Sunday to you, friend!

Happy Mothers day Jacky...
Hope you have had a nice day with your family. I am just clearing up from tea trying to get DD1 to load dishwasher for me. I still have the bedtime routine to do before I can open my box of Milk Tray in peace.
Wow! Those circles look really cool in all those diferent patterns. I love pulling out my scrap paper drawer and making cards from the leftovers. I usually die cut the little cupcakes and ice creams or punch out flowers.
Thanks for another good idea to try!

Its a lovely idea Jacky, really like the effect of the circles, might have to lift this one lol. The torn paper adds to the era of the photos. Great page.

Those circles are fantastic! Maybe it's more punches I need to be buying instead of stash :) Hope you had a lovely Mothers Day Jacky x
