Nearing the End

Of my holiday album, that is..........these are the pages I've done about Fowey.......a lovely Cornish village.........the way I imagine Cornish villages to be!!!.........Steep,narrow streets......lots of quirky little shops full of gorgeous handmade and coastal chic items..........a harbour full of boats........lots of cafes and tea shops.
We sat on a cafe balcony in the sun ..........watching the boats on the river below......drinking tea with scones and cream........trying to make it last as long as possible........so that we could sit there forever!!!
We went on a boat trip the couple of miles to the coast.....passing some houses that could only be accessed from the river.
I love this photo of OH and D...........you probably can't see......but they are laughing together, completely unaware of the camera.....a very natural pose by both of them.

And finally......views overlooking the town.
At least the weather was warmer then.......it's snowing and freezing today.......and worse is forecast!!

They are beautiful pages!
I could think of nothing nicer than have a cream tea in the sunshine with all that stunning scenery!

Beautiful blues on your pages are aming me long for a bit of blue sky and the seaside. One of these years I'll make it to Cornwall :) Looks like you had a wonderful time.

When I was little (back in the 60s!) we always went to Cornwall for our holidays and I have such happy memories. Your pages have brought it all back to me. If you could guarantee the weather you would never need to go abroad again would you? Lovely beaches. Quaint villages. Good food. Perfect!

Oh, lovely :-) I especially like the layered fish x

St Ives is my favourite Cornish town/village, it has the steep streets and it has the best fudge shop I've ever visited :-)

Gorgeous pages Jacky and Fowey is a really beautiful place, I'm not surprised you didn't want to leave. I have fond memories of that town too, makes me want to go back :). Love all the blues and the gorgeous summery feel of it, just what we need at the moment :). Chris x

Ahhhh holidays - Cornwall is lovely isn't it? If only the weather was guaranteed over here! I love the way you have layered the camera and the seagulls over the page. Lovely :-)
