A Winter's Day - snowy scrapbook page

Although it hasn't snowed for 2 days.......it's all still here.....though now frozen and very slippery..........too cold for much of it to melt........but as it's soooooooo rare for us to get snow like this in southern England......I've had to start scrapping it. This is my first page...... showing what it was like here on Saturday. I haven't done any journaling.......I may add some later.....do you think it needs any?

Apart from the background paper [can't remember what it is] everything used is DCWV Winter Stack.....the snowflakes a Cuttlebug die.........they've also got lots of glamour dust on them, but it doesn't show in photo.
Had to scrap 8 inches of snow off my car yesterday........hope it's a bit warmer where you are.

Beautiful page Jacky - it reminds me of your card style! I love the snow flake embellies and the big scallop underneath - lovely design. I'm also intrigued by how you layer photos over each other. Debbie Hodge has a lot of sketches like that, and I've been toying with the idea of trying it. Thanks for showing me how it would work!

A lovely LO and super snowy photos. I don't think it needs any journalling - rather self-explanatory!

Beautiful layout. The photos say it all. Not much warmer here on the east coast of the US, but definitely less snow.

great LO & no I dont think it needs journalling. If you cant resist doing some then maybe have it tucked away (if you havent stuck the photos down!)

Jacky your page is beautiful! Perfect layout just shows your pics so well. Love the way the snow has landed on your table and chairs! We are now snow and ice free but the wind would cut you in two and more snow forecast ... yuk!

Lovely layout Jacky, you really don't need journalling the LO speaks for itself.

As much as I love the snow, I think I've had enough now ... The snow up at Castleham has been a nightmare ...

I think it is great as is ... you have the date there and the photos are pretty self explanatory. You could always do a more journaling focused one another time.

Excellent icy page Jacky, I don't think it needs any journaling as the pictures say it all! It's a great page with a sleak, wintery feel, just lovely xx

oh this is gorgeous, don't think you need any journalling I think the date is the important thing.
It's snowing again here in Surrey and we're stuck ontop of hill which I always thought was good thing cos we won't get flooded!

I think it's perfect as it is, and doesn't need any journaling :-) I haven't scrapped any of my 'snow pics yet, though I agree it has to be done! We had an unexpected further 3 inches overnight so I'm still adding photos to the 'snow' file on my computer....

No I don't think it needs any journaling..but for a bit of fun you could always print out all the blog comments about it and add them on the back?

I agree - no journalling required on this super wintry layout.

Gorgeous scrapbook page, and excellent photographs, so much to see in that page. I am glad we dont get that much down in the westcountry, although we did have a lot more than usual, but its almost gone now, am now want some rain to wash away the dirt... Jose x

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me. I’m looking forward to your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!

Truly, this article is really one of the very best in the history of articles. I am a antique ’Article’ collector and I sometimes read some new articles if I find them interesting. And I found this one pretty fascinating and it should go into my collection. Very good work.
