A Winter Wonderland

I think we are now officially living in a Winter Wonderland...........had no idea we had moved continents!!...........our landscape is completely white.........and still it keeps coming.

This morning we decided to trek out for supplies.

the view down our hill.....perfect for sledging.......but nothing else

don't think I'll be using the patio anytime soon!!
We are now fully stocked up........and ready for a siege!!!!!

Hey Jacky...Well done for venturing out...Hubby has just braved Tescos and says it is heaving! I am very happy to stay put watching TV and crafting! We should all have a good stock of cards to last the year at this rate! Are you still doing Christmas ones? I am very low on flowers and animals...all my Wild Rose cats went so I have to get stamping. Must go on ebay to get some ink! chat soon!

Brrrrr - you seem to have more snow than we do (at the moment, as more is promised) - sounds like a very wise move to stock up. Mind you SallyB's suggestion of using the time to hibernate and make cards works for me too!!!!
All the best everyone

I know what you mean, who'd have thought the South coast would get so much snow!! My dog is scared of it, it's sooo funny to watch, I know I shouldn't laugh, but the snow is higher than she is LOL

Still snowing here, looks like over 12" now ...

Sorry you're getting fed up with your weather, but thanks for sharing. One of the coolest things about this whole blog thing is that I (sitting in Northern California) know about the huge amount of snow in the UK! Love that.

Wow that hill looks so slippery! We all ventured out today took the Christmas tree to the local park to recycle (on foot!) and then went to local supermarket that was sooo busy!

Wot, no reindeer? I've never SEEN so much snow.... Glad to hear you've stocked up with provisions Jackie. What do the dogs think of it?

Oh, my.... Did you sledge to the shops?! We're perilously low on supplies but our trek isn't anything like as bad as yours.

Hi Jacky, isnt it wonderful!! You are not that far from me or my nan we are all local, whats amazing is that my nan who is less than half a mile away had at least 3 more inches of snow that we did lol. The last lot of snow was meant to be tonight but i dont think we will get anymore which is just as well as the hubby has been off work all week and is driving me crazy as are the children who are making 6 loads of washing per day with all their snow soaked clothes lol. Bless them they have had lots of fun but im looking forward to normality again now. You will have to come over for coffee sweetie you are only a stones throw away :) xxxx
