Today I am Loving - our shopping spree!!

OH and I spent all day yesterday shopping.......this is pretty amazing.........as a short trip to Tesco is usually all he can stand!!
We left home at 8.30 and didn't stop til we met MIL and SIL at The Kings Head in Ninfield at 4pm for their delicious £3.50 carvery.
So......a whirlwind tour of our shopping spree.Starting at Eastbourne Shopping Centre.
I am loving these bargain books from The Works [OH also got some books].

I am loving this gorgeous set of 3 xmas tin pails.........£11.99 reduced to £4.47 in Lakeland.........will be altered slightly to put xmas gifts in.

Time for a Starbucks......not a patch on Costa.......but needs must.........and then onto Hampden Park Industrial Estates..........where OH got an adapter for his portable DVD player and from Dunhelm Mill I am loving these 2 gorgeous'Born to Shop' items.......I just love the quotes on 'Born to Shop' items......for xmas got DD a mug that says 'I understand the concepts of cooking and cleaning, just not how they apply to me'......and if you knew her....you'd know how perfect that is!!

and these giant HOME letters which will be decorated before displaying.....plus a lovely warm fleecy throw.

Then onto the ESK Discount Wharehouse and I'm loving the new crafty bits that I got......wanted,not needed, I'm afraid.......OH got some tool bits which he probably did need!!

Finally to The Crumbles Shopping Park..........OH got 10 DVDs for £2 each in Asda........and I got a lovely shirt in Matalan.
We arrived at the Carvery......with aching feet and screaming stomachs......both of which were appeased over dinner.......a great day out.......and, no, we don't usually go on spending sprees like this.......but fun once in a while!!
Today.....back to the more mundane Tesco shopping.
Hope you've all enjoyed your weekend.

What a fun day! I especially love the tin pails! But I would much rather you stopping for a "spot of tea" than a Starbuck's! When we travel in Europe, we avoid Starbucks like the plague.

What wonderful things you found! I'll have to check the library for some of the books you found. Sounds like you had lots of fun.

Hi there Jacky - love your book titles: kill, kill and entomb! LOL I can see what sort of reading you're into. Glad you had so much fun shopping. I (virtuously!) cleaned my front room carpet. It was long (I mean long) overdue.
Best wishes

I'm guessing hubby thinks that is all the shopping he'll need to do this year then!! Well done on your great haul of alterable goodies as well as crafting stuff. Looking forward to seeing your WIP once altered and your projects with those yummy templates.
