In 2005 we went on a family 'holiday of a lifetime' to Florida......the first week was spent in Orlando doing all the usual touristy things..........theme parks, shopping malls, fast food restaurants........my mind still boggles at the 'buffet breakfasts'. The second week ' chillin out' in Naples.
The highlight of our week in Orlando was a visit to Discovery Cove........where the girls swam with dolphins......a dream come true for them......I took loads of photos........but we also had some 'official' photos taken.....and one of those is the main picture in this clipboard.
Again this clipboard has been painted with acrylic paint and the small chipboard frames given a 'distressed' look with paint.
The photo has been mounted on torn paper.........ribbons and fibres have been woven through mesh to try and give a watery feel.
The clay numbers at the top are the year........there's some bottle tops....and sticker words 'cherish memories', 'wonder' and 'beautiful'.
DD, who usually hates any scrapbooking I do of her, actually likes this!!
