Journal Your Christmas 19 - Traditions - christmas stockings

Traditions can change over the years.....we introduce new traditions with our own children........but some things never change for me.........Christmas stockings are a compulsory part of the celebration..........and in our house have always been for adults as well as children........you're never too old for a stocking.
Even when I was child......our stockings were always filled with lots of little presents from Santa.......and some items were in there every year.....chocolate money.....sugar mice [no doubt the sugar police have banned these now].......a new toothbrush and flannel........as well as lots of fun pressies..........any bigger, more expensive presents came under the tree named with who they were from.........and I still love unwrapping lots of little pressies.

A very dark photo I'm afraid...........should be bright red and green  [you will get a better view if you click on the pic] .............and pretty unusual for me ...........didn't add a photo on this page.
Thought I was fairly up to date with my xmas to do list........until I read Mel's one....and realized I'd still got a fairly similar one to do as well.....so better get on.....chocolate truffles and microwave fudge next on the list.

lol re the list!! You're most welcome to take my kids to get their haircuts, take my boy to the dentist, prepare my veg, etc... ;-)

Love your page, sometimes a photo isn't necessary (though I rarely follow that principle myself!)

Love your page, the papers go so well, and nice to see traditions do go on. We do Christmas stockings for the kids and fill it with choccies and small gifts. But I have never had one not even when i was a kid Boo Hoo!
Have a merry christmas Jacky.
Happy crafting

I love your Tradition layout. Reminds me of my childhood when we went for the stocking first because there was always a bit of money in the toe.
