Moments in Time-Childhood memories mini album

This mini album was inspired by a visit to my local museum.......on the wall is an enormous canvas.......printed on it is blown up black and white photos taken in the town and on the beach........mainly in the 50s and 60s......I have some very similar photos........some taken in the same places.......I decided to take them out of their neglected box......and put them in an album.

I've used the original photos.......all in good condition......my brother [the photographer] would call that heresy.......but why use cheap imitations.......when the real thing can be enjoyed.
I may add some journaling later.....for my children.......but for now they are complete.
You can click on the pics to see in larger format.

What a beautiful album. I just love the papers you have used - they really do justice to the photos.

Beautiful album Jacky, your chosen colour is perfect with the black and white images. Very nostalgic and so like pics of my own childhood. A real treasure for your kids some day.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL ALBUM. I LOVE FAMILY HISTORY ETC AND FIND LOOKING AT THE PHOTOS FASCINATING. WE HAVE PICTURES OF VICTORIAN WEDDINGS WHICH UNFORTUNATELY NO-ONE IS ABLE TO TELL US ANYTHING ABOUT ANYMORE.

This is so beautiful Jacky and such an innovative way to treasure those family moments. The colours you've chosen go so well. I'm rather ashamed to say I use the default setting on my blog - I think it's Times and in small - hope this helps. You may have inspired me to alter it. Hugs Cherry XXX

Oh my gosh! That's beautiful! Fun to see your style transferred from cards into a mini album. I'm beginning to think of doing a mini soon (about DS All Star summer), and I have a bunch of heritage photos to scrap.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. LOVE the album. I always worry about using colour with older photos but this looks fabulous. Love your cards too - you're a very talented lady.

Wonderful album. Be sure to leave some journaling; I've just recently scanned a lot of photos from my childhood and have quite a few questions, but no one to ask!
