Just Magnolia...blogging class.....and a busy day.

A day of excitement and busyness [is there such a word!!??] today.

Exciting because it was the start of my 'Blogging for Scrapbookers' class..........why am I doing this..........I want to make my blog more interesting............I'd like it to be more than posting cards............... I want to learn tips and techniques to help with blogging..............and already today I've learned things [ like the joys of using Google Reader] that I'll soon be putting into practise.

And exciting because my Magnolia magazine arrived [a bit sad I know!] .....it cost more then I've ever paid for a magazine........but is full of the most gorgeous stuff......so if you're a Magnolia freak like me........it is a definate must have......and big congrats to Chris for winning the card comp and being invited onto their DT.

Busy because....it was the last session of the 'Storysacks' course I've been tutoring this morning [another one starts at a different school tomorrow]..........and this evening the start of a 'Memory Albums' course I am running for a local bereavenent group.............I've run a daytime one before, but they wanted an evening one for members who work...........it's a difficult course to tutor..........I'm always very aware of not saying the wrong thing............but very, very rewarding.............and although it can be very emotional for students...........it can also be very theraputic.....and in fact it was a good evening.

And this afternoon I even managed to make a card!!!!!! It had to be for Just Magnolia [with the mag arriving].......they want to see monochromatic.........I used the sketch on Willow Sketchie, but turned it round......and haven't put the sentiment on cause not sure yet whether it's for xmas or a winter birthday.........and Creative Card Crew want snowflakes and there's plenty of them on this card! Tilda has been coloured with SU watercolour crayons and blender.......the papers are all Forever Friends.......assortment of snowflake and star brads..........Craftwork Cards card candy [which is metallic blue and white, not pink and green!!!]..........and lots of stickles.

Phew.......a long post for me......hope you're all still awake!!!!!!
