A Day in the Life

Today is my busiest day.......it's the only day I work all day [how lucky I hear some of you say].........I began teaching 2 new courses today..........both of them Keeping Up with the Children Literacy.......which are exactly what they say on the box.........how to keep up with what your children are doing at primary school...........and if you have children and are over 15 [happily all my parents are!!].........you need this course........cause they way they are taught literacy has changed beyond all recognition.........parents constantly say they can't help their children with their homework because they don't understand what the children are doing.......I've had to really update myself to teach this course......some things I've long since forgotten.......and others I think I never knew.........did you know 'happy' was an abstract noun........no,neither did I...........or maybe you did.........and it's just me who thought grammer was an Americanised way of saying grandma!!!!!!!

This was followed by my weekly shopping..........because the school I taught at this afternoon is opposite our new all-singing,all-dancing mega Tesco Superstore [let no-one tell you they are not after global domination]..............but this Tesco has a nice quirk.........it reduces all it's 'sell by' date food between 3.30 and 4.30pm............and it reduces it drastically........I once bought 4 steaks for under a £1........no such feast today......but loads of reduced fruit and veg..........so at least we will be eating healthily!!!!!!

And finally......and please be very impressed.......I have also managed to make a card........xmas of course.......which is what the new challenge blog Sassy Designs by Susie wants........along with Roses on Paper........while Creative Card Crew want ribbons and gems...........and I used the lovely sketch on Inspirational Card Sketches. Tilda has been coloured with SU watercolour crayons and blender pen........and her face with copics........the papers are a beautiful Bo Bunny xmas selection......gems are PM and are dotted over the snowflakes........ribbon from stash.......plus Stickles of course.........after I'd finished realised I'd actually used blue and red again.....not so 'in your face' though.
