Forever Friends Creative Christmas

Think this is my favourite Forever Friends was pleased to use him for Creative Inspirations challenge 'christmas in October'........and A Spoon full of Sugar also want to see christmas......I love that I've enjoyed making sooo many xmas cards for challenges this year......instead of the last minute panic that I usully have to get them made. Santa was watercoloured.........the papers are from my [enormous!!] scraps box......the tree a sizzix die cut.........PM brads........ribbon from stash.......stickles......SU oval punch.
The dark card is a lovely xmas green.......not black!!!!!!
Have spent the afternoon trying to sort out hysterical DD2 who is being evicted from her cut a long story short.....flatmate left suddenly 2 weeks ago part way through tenancy.....DD can't afford rent on desperately looking for somewhere else.........
landlord telling her she has to pay full rent or get out immediately.....phoning her constantly.......frightening her today by saying she'll have vast legal costs to pay if she isn't out by tomorrow!!!! Has been calmed a bit by Shelter telling us he can't evict by phone, but has to go through the proper processes [which will hopefully give her time to find somewhere else] and that it's illegal for him to harrass her like that. We're seeing council officials tomorrow to clarify the position.Don't think much of men who try to terrify 19 yr old girls.

OMG Jacky that is terrible, your poor daughter! There has to be laws against these people, the nerve of him!!! Don't think much of her friend either to go off and leave her in the lurch like that! Oh I love your card by the way, love your image and the fab colours. Cute little tree.

What a terrible thing, I hope everything gets sorted, I won't say what wants doing with him, COWARD! Bullying and frightening a young girl.
Nice card by the way, just love your layout and that green is delicious for christmas.
Happy crafting

That's awful about your daughter Jacky. Landlords can be so unscrupulous. I had a similar one when I was at uni who just walked into the house when he felt like it and another who didn't bother to get gas checks and was hours away from getting rid of us all permanently. Had it not been for me noticing a small pile of soot under the gas fire and being warned about this by my Dad I don't think i would be here! I hope for her sake she can get out from this place quickly and find somewhere better to live, without hassle and worry. Lovely card hun too!! xx

Hope your daughter is okay Jackie, that is a gorgeous card.

If you're serious about going up to Essex on the 28th for Steph's Make and Take do you fancy a car share? I'm going up anyway, I'm in Bexhill.

Let me know :O)
