Buttons and bows

Buttons, ribbons and bows aren't things I use a lot of.....apart,it seems, from this week....where they're everywhere!!.....yesterday it was Tuesday Taggers.....now Just Magnolia want ribbons and bows......and Crafts4Eternity want buttons. Used Crafts4Eternity's sketch ......a bit loosely!....and turned it round. This is my favourite Tilda from the new Autumn Kit........this little cutie has been watercoloured.....the card is DCWV.......papers are MME Wild Asparagus........bows from Hobbycraft.......lace from local haberdashers.......sentiment is a Daisy and Dandelion one......bows on buttons are embroidery thread.....and buttons from stash.
Had a wonderful day yesterday!!!....woke up with dreadful cold......feeling awful......runny nose....sneezing.......headache....sore eyes.....the whole sheebang.
Followed this by going on computer.....DD brought me cup of coffee.....how many times do I tell my kids not to have drinks at computer.....do they listen?......no......have they ever spilled one....no.......did I spill it?.....YES......managed to grab keyboard and mug......but didn't save poor little mouse.......drowned and definately dead......luckily tower is other side of computer......so could I wait a day to get another one.......NO......... feeling like death warmed up had to go out and buy new mouse!! Feeling ill and not having the internet would have been just tooooo much to bear!!!
So today has to be a better day......at least I'm feeling a bit better.....though my eyes look like something from a horror movie!!

Aah Jacky, you poor thing! Sounds like the day from hell! I know what you mean though about kids, drinks and computers and yes, i too was the one who spilled a whole cup of tea on the lap top. I literally tipped it upside down to sit back and see every last drop drip back out. How it worked again i do not know. I guess we have off days and by the looks of this card you must be on the mend. It's gorgeous, you should use buttons/ribbons more often. As for the lace, yummy.
Get well soon xx
