Wild Rose Christmas in August

Wild Rose Studio have introduced challenges on their blog.......the first one is a sketch with the added twist of stamping on patterned paper.......and Simon Says has 'Xmas in August'......thought this lovely Wild Rose Sam stamp would be perfect.....do go and look at their range of stamps......they have some really cute ones. All the card and papers are from DCWV's superb winter stack [which is also great for scrapbooking].........Hero Arts postmark stamp........Anita's glittery snowflakes and snowballs......Inca sentiment.....Stickles......Xcut oval cutter.
You may [or may not!!!] be wondering about the photo below.......I spent a lovely weekend in Cirencester with my uncle and aunt........but the highlight of the visit was spending a couple of hours at Paper Arts in Stroud with Kathy.......we'd never met before.....but chat frequently on Craftbubble.......what a lovely lady....and what a wonderful shop.....a scrapbooker's paradise......everything you could possibly want....including lovely staff.....coffee on demand...... cropping area....loos.....classes and crops......and stash to die for.
Before going I vowed to buy no more paper.....yeah right......one look at the MME xmas pack.....and it had jumped right into my basket....closely followed by a 7 Gypsies Market pad.....not to mention a few other bits and pieces.......but if you are ever in the vicinity.......this shop is a MUST [or visit their website]!!!!

Was great to meet Kathy in person.....and we hope to meet up again.
